Youth Program Tournament Rules and Regulations Event Date: Friday May 22nd @ 6am - Monday May 25th @ Midnight Tournament Registration: Forms: The registration form is located on our Facebook page (New York Bass Youth Program). Please fill out the Google form associated with the event. Pay and submit form. Note: The registration process will not continue until both form and payment are received. Connect Scale App: Once we receive your completed form and payment you will be sent an invitation email from the NY BASS Youth Program/Connect Scale inviting you to participate and to sign on to the event on the Connect Scale tournament platform. Please download the Connect Scale App on your mobile device and familiarize yourself with its capabilities. Note: All registration forms will be processed on the evening of the day they were received. Note: The email address used to fill out the Google entry form will be used as your identifier throughout the tournament. The first is of the anglers holding their live catch. The second is showing the length of your catch with your approved cloth sewing ruler in clear view. Photo #2: Length Photo - (see Diagram 1 below) With an approved soft cloth sewing measuring tape take 1 photo of the length with the cloth ruler in clear view below the bass. Note: Photo must clearly show the tournament I.D. code in the picture. The judges will only go off what measurements they see in the photos. Photos with the fish on the ruler or with the ruler on the fish will not be accepted. ATTENTION! For The Hofmann Hotdog Memorial Weekend Family Fishing Tournament: Please take and send in BOTH photos. Record your fish’s length and estimate a weight in the Connect Scale app. This tournament is a length only tournament. The additional photos are used for catch verification. Any fish in NYS that is LEGAL to fish for in your region of the state during the event. Where can I fish? All fish must be caught within this time period. All fish caught must be submitted/uploaded by midnight of the last day of the tournament. How much is it to fish? $20 for your entire immediate family (Mom, Dad, Son, Daughter, etc) How can I fish and compete? To be eligible to compete and win prizes, the entrant must: (a) Complete all mandatory forms (b) Pay required entrance fee (c) Read the Tournament Rule and Regulations Can my catch be rejected? The Tournament Director reserves the right to deny or reject a submitted catch. If your catch is rejected you will receive an email explaining the reason why. Please familiarize yourself with the catch submittal process stated above. Can I get my money back? Once an angler is entered in the tournament NO REFUNDS will be given. How big do my entered fish need to be? Any LEGAL fish species caught from 6in - 60in (max length of measuring device) is eligible! This includes but may not be limited to; Panfish (crappie, bluegill, etc), Bass, Pike, Pickerel, Walleye, Trout, etc. If you have any questionable species please contact us! What mode of fishing can I use? All fish must be caught alive, hooked in the mouth and taken on a rod and reel according to the regulations of the state in which the catch was made. Fish taken by non-sporting means (this includes, but is not limited to, jugging, foul-hooking, trotlines, spearing, yo-yos, snagging, etc.) are not eligible. What happens if there is a tie? In case of a tie the angler with the largest (length) single fish will act as a tie breaker. If a tie remains it will be broken by a flip of a coin This tournament is subject to all applicable state and local laws and regulations and is void wherever prohibited
